Head of Bioenhancement RnD, ADS
About the role
The successful candidate will lead all site R&D activities and act as the accountable leader for the Bioenhancement Center of Excellence. They will define and execute R&D strategy aligned with business and global innovation priorities, represent the site on the global R&D Leadership Team, and influence strategic direction. They will oversee the full innovation pipeline, build, mentor, and develop a high-performing R&D organization, engage with customers, partners, and the scientific community as a thought leader, and drive innovation and service development in partnership with commercial and marketing teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead all site R&D activities and act as the accountable leader for the Bioenhancement Center of Excellence
- Define and execute R&D strategy aligned with business and global innovation priorities
- Represent the site on the global R&D Leadership Team and influence strategic direction
- Oversee the full innovation pipeline, including prioritization, governance, and resource planning
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing R&D organization
- Engage with customers, partners, and the scientific community as a thought leader
- Drive innovation and service development in partnership with commercial and marketing teams
Requirements
- Advanced degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field
- Extensive experience in bioenhancement, drug delivery, or related R&D environments
- Proven leadership of multidisciplinary R&D teams and global innovation programs
- Strong scientific expertise in pharmaceutical development and bioenhancement technologies
- Experience aligning local execution with global strategy and driving transformation
- Business mindset with experience in prioritization, risk management, and service development
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across senior and external audiences
