The company is shifting from a hybrid work model to a fully in-person schedule up to 5 days a week to enable greater speed, alignment, and agility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of accounting operations across USDS JV entities.
• Lead the accounting team to deliver month-end close and quarterly reporting.
• Analyze complex business transactions and provide accounting treatment evaluation in compliance with local and international accounting standards (US GAAP & IFRS).
• Coordinate with external and internal auditors to ensure timely completion of audit requests, and aid in the research and analysis of audit issues raised.
• Handle revenue-related accounting and operations.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant accounting standards, and assess operational implications for any relevant changes.
• Partner with the JV related parties' accounting/reporting teams to operationalize the accounting related to complex transactions.
• Work closely with FP&A, tax, and other internal teams to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies, translating and applying GAAP/international policies to operationalize complex accounting issues, including assessing internal controls.
• Work with the USDS Finance Lead on cross-functional special projects, including automation, policy updates, system improvements, and internal control enhancements.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders, translating accounting implications into business-friendly language.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and active CPA Certification.
• 15 years of experience in financial statements auditing, financial accounting, or similar experience.
• Analytical skills with datasets, including experience in Excel.
• Prior experience in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) industry.
• Experience working with business partners and engineers to effect changes.
• Experience in optimizing or re-designing existing processes resulting from business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Financial reporting (US GAAP & IFRS), basic knowledge of tax provision.
• System implementation experience.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $122,550 - $291,840 annually. Compensation may vary depending on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the total package, which may include additional discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.

Schedule

This role requires a fully in-person schedule up to 5 days a week.
