About the role

Manage all aspects of nursing responsibilities during each shift, including assigning patient assignments, medication orders, training of new hires, and management of a safe environment for staff and patients alike. Focus on providing efficient, timely, and knowledgeable care while ensuring patient satisfaction in every interaction. The Head Nurse is responsible for ensuring these values are reflected in their staff at all times.

Requirements

• Valid New York State RN License
• Minimum of two years in a managerial role
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with an EMR (preferred)
• Knowledge of standard precautions and ability to utilize appropriate PPE when administering cytotoxic agents and handling bloodborne pathogens and bodily fluids
• Reliable transportation to travel to NYCBS locations for patient care needs
