Responsibilities
- Instruct, mentor, and prepare students for careers in dental assisting.
- Advocate for the dental assisting career field.
- Utilize teamwork, interpersonal communication, confidentiality, and customer service skills.
- Work effectively with faculty, staff, students, and community members.
- Incorporate the use of computers and technology in instruction.
Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
- Maintain educational qualifications, certifications, and/or licensures as required by the specific program.
- A minimum of three years of work experience as a dental assistant or dental hygienist with assisting experience.
