About the Role

Head JV Boys Soccer Coach position for the 2026 - 2027 school year at Hartsville High School. This role may include teaching responsibilities and is FLSA exempt.

Responsible to the Principal, Athletic Director, and Head Varsity Coach.

Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina teaching credential preferred
• Secondary certification preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Experience at the high school level in motivating and developing a championship-level program
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a visible commitment to student athletes, community, and instructional leadership while promoting positive character and school spirit
• Have experience and innovative ideas in and out of season (in compliance with SC High School League regulations) regarding the soccer program
• Demonstrate the ability to motivate, relate, work with, and maximize the individual potential of high school students on and off the field
• Demonstrate high energy and be able to work well with others

Pay

Annual supplement: $1,850.00 for the 2026 - 2027 school year.
