Head JV Baseball Coach

About the role

The Head JV Baseball Coach will be responsible for leading the JV baseball program at Riverdale Ridge High School.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive JV baseball program that aligns with the school's athletic philosophy.
• Coach players in baseball skills and strategies, focusing on fundamentals and team building.
• Manage team travel and scheduling, ensuring all games are played according to league rules.
• Work closely with other coaches and administrators to maintain a positive and inclusive environment.

Requirements

• A minimum of three years of successful high school coaching experience.
• A strong understanding of baseball fundamentals and the ability to teach these concepts effectively.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for transporting players.
• Experience with managing a high school sports program.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Knowledge of current best practices in high school athletics.

Pay
