Head Infant Teacher
About the role

They seek professional, passionate, nurturing individuals to join their team as full‑time Head Infant Teachers at the Mountain View location. In addition to engaging children in developmentally appropriate activities and ensuring the highest quality of care, the Head Teacher will oversee the Infant and/or Toddler program, evaluate curriculum, train and work with fellow staff, act as liaison between the Director and staff, visit sister sites to share knowledge, and assist in planning and facilitating school‑wide and company‑wide staff in‑service meetings. Responsibilities
- Engage children in developmentally appropriate activities
- Ensure the highest quality of care in the classroom
- Oversee the Infant and/or Toddler program
- Evaluate curriculum
- Work with and train fellow staff members
- Act as liaison between the Director and staff within the age group
- Visit sister sites to share knowledge with employees
- Assist in planning and facilitating school‑wide and company‑wide staff in‑service meetings
Requirements
- Associate's Degree
- Completion of 12 core ECE semester units, including the Infant/Toddler Development course (support provided if not yet completed)
- 2 years of experience working with children
