Annual stipend position for the 2026-2027 school year under the LBSEA Contract 2026-2029 (see salary guides for yearly stipends, pp. 79-80).
Qualifications
- Prior experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or facility maintenance
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools, machinery, and safety practices
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, especially during snow events
- Familiar with snow equipment (e.g., plows, bobcats, snow blowers, salters)
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with sports field maintenance
Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance of lawns, sports fields, gardens, walkways, and other outdoor areas
- Ensure fields and grounds are properly prepared for events or games
- Maintain equipment and coordinate necessary repairs
- Ensure all groundskeeping is performed in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner
- Monitor and maintain irrigation systems
- Assist the Buildings and Grounds Manager in setting and maintaining daily, weekly, and seasonal schedules
Pay
$5,000 annual stipend.
