Head Fire Sprinkler Service Technician

Our Client is a fire protection and life safety services company built for heavy industrial and commercial operations. Our mission is to eliminate preventable fire risk in dynamic environments and set the standard for how it's done. This is a lead role. You'll set the bar for the team and own the work in the field. The position is based out of Helena, AL and serves customer sites across Central Alabama. What You'll Do Manage the team by training younger techs and setting the standardInspect, test, and maintain sprinkler systems and fire pumpsTest wet, dry, deluge, and pre-action systemsTroubleshoot and repair leaks, bad heads, valves, and worn partsFlag deficiencies and parts that need swappingWrite up clean service tickets What We're Looking For - Required NICET III in Water-Based Systems LayoutWorking knowledge of NFPA 25 across wet, dry, deluge, and pre-action systemsAble to lead from the front by training techs, running inspections, and owning the workPresentable and professional, comfortable being the face of Pyre on customer sitesValid driver's license and a clean, insurable driving recordAble to handle the field, including lifting up to 50 lbs, working ladders and lifts, and managing tight spacesReliable and accountable, showing up, taking ownership, and cutting no corners Preferred NICET II or III in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based SystemsComfortable with tablet or phone reporting and service software What We Offer Compensation: Base, plus commission on new business wonCompany truck and fuel cardHealth, dental, and visionPaid NICET advancement: we cover renewals and advancementFlexible schedule built around getting the work done rightDirect access to the owner: no layers of management between you and a decision Benefits Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insurance Work Location: In person
