About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Girls' Varsity Basketball Program, fostering an environment that supports the holistic development of student-athletes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for the team
  • Collaborate with coaches and staff to ensure the program aligns with school values and goals
  • Mentor and coach student-athletes to improve their skills and character
  • Manage team logistics including scheduling, travel arrangements, and equipment maintenance
  • Work closely with the administration to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies

Requirements

  • A strong background in basketball coaching or related field
  • Experience working with high school-aged athletes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for promoting the values of athletics and education

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of coaching experience at the high school level
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations

Skills

  • Strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

Salary range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually
