Head Coach

About the role

The Head Coach will lead the girls basketball program at Weld Central High School. The coach will be responsible for all aspects of the team including game planning, player development, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement game plans based on team strategy and opponent analysis
• Coach players in fundamental skills and advanced techniques
• Manage team travel and scheduling
• Collaborate with school administration and other coaches to promote school spirit and athletic excellence
• Attend all home and away games

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of successful coaching experience at the high school level
• Proven ability to motivate and develop young athletes
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Qualifications

• Experience with youth sports programming is preferred
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Pay

• $120 per game

Schedule

• Game days: Monday through Friday
