Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef specializing in Mexican cuisine to lead our kitchen team in Whitefish, MT. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Develop and execute authentic Mexican cuisine menus that meet quality and presentation standards.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and minimizing waste.
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during all shifts.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to improve skills and performance.
- Collaborate with management to plan special events and seasonal menu changes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar leadership role in a kitchen.
- Expertise in Mexican cuisine with a strong culinary background.
- Strong skills in inventory management and cost control.
