Job Goal(s)
To build a safe and competitive program that unifies the student athlete experience. The coach will promote academic excellence, develop physical and stunting skills, foster school spirit during athletic events, and teach valuable life lessons like discipline and sportsmanship.
Qualifications
- Has the ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
- Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to mentor student-athletes and collaborate effectively with school administration, parents, and community members.
- The coach must serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes through his/her instructions and actions.
Education
- At least 20 years of age, or a high school graduate.
Experience
- Previous coaching or competitive cheerleading experience at the high school, collegiate, or All-Star level.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of NFHS and MPA Rules.
- Demonstrate ability to instruct and supervise student athletes.
Working Schedule
Flexible after school hours required for scheduled games both home and away.
Travel Requirements
Travel to home and away games.

Director of Athletics
Terms of Employment
As determined annually by the District.
Evaluation
Completed annually by Director of Athletics
