Houston High School is seeking a Head B-Team Football Coach for the 2026-2027 season. The position commences mid-August 2026.
About the role
The Head B-Team Football Coach will be responsible for leading the team, developing players, and implementing coaching strategies to improve the team's performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement coaching strategies to enhance player development and team performance.
- Manage daily practices, games, and travel arrangements for the B-Team.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive approach to team development.
- Attend all team meetings and communicate effectively with players, parents, and administration.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in coaching, education, or a related field.
- At least three years of successful coaching experience at the high school level.
- Experience with B-Team football.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate players.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of high school football rules and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Pass a background check.
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Experience with player development and team building.

Pay
The pay for this position is $50,000 per year.
Schedule
