Head 7th and 8th Grade Wrestling Coach

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement wrestling programs for 7th and 8th grade students.
• Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations regarding coaching and student safety.
• Provide training and guidance in proper athletic certification and health protocols.
• Manage and motivate athletes to achieve their full potential.

Requirements

• A valid Ohio Certificate/License/Permit in the appropriate area.
• Proper athletic certification, which can be submitted with the application if complete.
• Applicants who are not yet certified may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching wrestling at the middle school level.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
• Knowledge of youth development and sports psychology.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in using the Coaches' Tool Chest platform.

Benefits

• Salary range of $3,719.00 - $6,379.00 for the 2026-2027 School Year.
