Responsibilities
- Affords technical support for applications and interfaces delivering IT tools and supporting business functions across the health system.
- Supports surgical services operational teams using Epic OpTime and Anesthesia workflows, providing innovative solutions to enhance functionality, and troubleshooting issues effectively.
- Collaborates with team to optimize workflows and tools, adhering to guiding principles and governing structure.
- Analyzes, develops, and implements new functionality as well as enhances current builds, contributing to innovations in surgical services workflows.
- Becomes an expert in Epic OpTime and Anesthesia workflows.
- Takes call on a rotation and responds to requests effectively, updating team/manager on issues requiring escalation.
- Works remotely but is expected to go onsite for go-lives and required meetings.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).
- Licensure/Certification: No licensure or certification required.
- Experience: Two (2) years of IT systems and/or operational experience if a Bachelor's degree; Four (4) years if an Associate's degree; Six (6) years if a High School diploma or GED.
