HCA/CNA for Weekends

About the role

Actikare Responsive In Home Care is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers, CNAs, or HCAs with experience caring for seniors to join our award-winning team. As an Actikare caregiver, you will assist seniors with daily activities, provide companionship, and help them maintain independence in their own homes. The position includes ongoing weekend 9‑3 pm shifts in Everett, with other shifts available.

Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and other daily living tasks
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Prepare for clients
• Report any unusual incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Requirements

• Active CNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington – or proof of completion or current enrollment in a training program
• Reliable transportation (licensed and insured driver)
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English
• U.S. work authorization (mandatory)
• Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks

Pay

$21.00 – $23.00 per hour

Schedule

Generally expected hours: 12‑20 per week, with potential up to 40 hours per week; includes weekend 9‑3 pm shifts and other flexible shift options.
