About the role

Support the Enterprise Data Warehouse and OMH projects, focusing on Informatica PowerCenter ETL processes, Informatica administration, and redesign and implementation of current and future OMH initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and translate patient health data business requirements into ETL code, including admission, discharge, census, financial, billing, human resource, payroll, Medicaid, and pharmacy data.
• Participate in data warehouse design and architecture planning using Kimball methodologies, star schema design, and dimensional data modeling techniques.
• Collaborate with developers as a team lead to design Informatica PowerCenter ETL and database architecture using advanced data warehousing concepts.
• Extract and interpret Informatica Metadata repository data.
• Implement Fine Grain Access Control Audit (FGACA) to protect healthcare data such as Medicaid, pharmacy, and HIPAA-protected health information (PHI).
• Analyze and code complex UNIX scripts to validate and FTP files and monitor Informatica workflows.
• Perform Informatica administration, including installation, patching, and deployment of Informatica ETL code across all platforms.

Requirements

• 84+ months of experience as an IT Specialist, providing guidance to large teams and/or possessing extensive industry experience at the top of the field.
• 84 months of experience using Informatica PowerCenter 10.5.x or higher and Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud in a data warehouse environment, including familiarity with advanced warehousing concepts and design/development of complex mappings.
• 84 months of experience with Informatica PowerCenter administration, including installation, patching, metadata analysis, ETL code migration, and repository optimization.
• 84 months of experience analyzing and converting heterogeneous health systems data (admission, discharge, census, financial, billing, HR, payroll, Medicaid, and pharmacy) into complex ETL code.
• 84 months of experience in relational data management disciplines and design/development using Oracle technologies, including Oracle Virtual Private Database (VPD) and Oracle Fine-Grained Auditing (FGACA) in an enterprise data warehouse environment to protect healthcare data.
• 60 months of experience working with UNIX and/or Linux operating systems.
• 60 months of experience collaborating with developers as a team lead in designing PowerCenter ETL and database architecture using advanced data warehousing concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business intelligence, information science, or a related field.
