About the role

Systems Architect-Expert Billing - In-house developed billing system for Workers Compensation and disability insurance for generating premium and maintenance transactions for the internal as well as customer portal. Sec 93 Deferred Payments - In-house developed transaction processing system for Workers Compensation and Disability Insurance for processing Sec 93 Deferred Payments modules. Out of State Coverage - In-house developed application for providing coverage for Businesses operating from out of state. Tasks will also include systems enhancements and production fixes once fully developed and deployed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, modify, test and implement code to develop Oracle stored procedures, packages, and triggers to integrate in-house applications with cloud-based software
• Plan, create, modify, test and implement code to develop batch applications using .NET and Oracle
• Plan, create, modify, test and implement code to develop online applications using JavaScript, .NET and Oracle
• Plan, create, modify, test and implement code to develop utilizing modern web development frameworks
• Adhere to NYSIF’s application development standards, including project management methodology, SDLC, Enterprise Architecture standards and the IT governance process.

Qualifications

• 84 months of experience with development, and maintenance of software to support Workers’ compensation insurance processes, including implementation of workers’ compensation insurance proof of coverage following IAIABC guidelines.
• 84 months of experience in development and support of software solutions for billing and collections process, including accounts receivable management and compliance with regulatory requirements
• 84 months experience in development and implementation of software related to policy premium calculation following the guidelines and regulations for Workers’ Compensation Insurance in New York State
• 84 months experience in Oracle development using PL/SQL Developer to implement the following: triggers, functions, stored procedures, packages, view, cursor, file processing, and advanced query optimization
• 84 months experience as a .Net application developer - TFS, visual studio with visual studio 2010 or newer
• 84 months experience with web browser application development using Javascript, CSS, XML, Xslt, html and AJAX.
• 36 months with Planview PPM Pro (formerly Innotas)
