About the role
This role requires a strong commitment to safety and compliance with hazardous materials handling regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience driving large commercial vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Operate company-owned vehicles safely and efficiently
- Load and unload hazardous materials according to federal and state regulations
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and up-to-date
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Valid CDL with HazMat endorsement
- At least 2 years of relevant driving experience
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
Skills
- Commercial driving experience
- HazMat certification
- Good physical condition
