About the role

The Caritasverband Heinsberg is seeking a caretaker for the Mother Teresa residential home (special living arrangement) for people with mental disabilities in Geilenkirchen, starting as soon as possible, with a workload of 10 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and care of buildings and outdoor facilities, including servicing and repair of technical systems
• Renovation/support with internal moving tasks
• Performance of general manual trades activities
• Support at events
• Contacts and coordination with cooperating companies
• Handling of administrative tasks

Requirements

• Completed trade apprenticeship or comparable qualification
• Ideally experience in a comparable activity
• Openness towards people with mental disabilities
• Reliability and flexibility
• Independent and responsible work style
• Class B driver's license
