HAUL TRUCK DRIVER - QUARRY NIGHT SHIFT

Duties and/or Responsibilities

  • Operate haul truck within the mine site in accordance with all applicable safety regulations, specifically, MSHA and Knife River policies.
  • Transport materials safely in varying weather, light and site conditions.
  • Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate with fellow employees to relay and receive information.
  • Complete Pre and Post operational equipment inspections accurately and legibly.
  • Maintain proper operating levels of the equipment’s fluids, fuel, tire pressures, etc.
  • Maintain a clean and safe operating cab. Windows, mirrors, seat, floor, etc.
  • Able to operate a 2.5” high pressure water hose, independently, for mobile equipment clean up and wash out duties.
  • Assist with clean up duties at crushing plants, this includes but is not limited to: shoveling, using hand tools and the use of high pressure water hoses.
  • Willingness and ability to work long hours during the production season.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Up to one month related experience or training, or Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Driver’s license required.
  • Ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA, DNR, MSHA, Federal, State, and Local safety and environmental regulation compliance including attending training.
  • This position may require you to wear a half mask respirator at times and therefore, you will be required to be fit tested.
