Haul Truck Driver

We are a fully integrated sand supply and services company, offering complete sand, logistics, storage, and management solutions to our customers with our in-basin trans-loading terminals and our smartsystem storage capabilities. We own and operate premium frac sand mines and related processing facilities in Wisconsin and Illinois, which have access to three Class I rail lines, allowing us to deliver products substantially anywhere in the United States and Canada.

About the role

The Haul Truck Driver operates an off-road haul truck used in supplying the plant with materials as needed. The position will work under the supervision of the Mine Manager but will require taking direction from other Smart Sand Managers. This position is based primarily at our Oakdale, WI facility and works Night Shift on a 2, 2, 3 rotation.

Responsibilities

• Haul material and waste products from work areas in haul trucks and transport to appropriate location.
• Use hand-held mobile radio units to coordinate tasks and resources.
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to the supervisor.
• Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
• Demonstrate constant commitment to safety, professional behavior, and environmental considerations.
• Work cooperatively to comply with facility-wide environmental and quality management systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record Check (MVR).
• Must possess a valid WI driver license.
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous experience driving a haul truck strongly preferred.
• Good judgment is required.
• Must be adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• MSHA training and experience is a plus.
• Mining experience: 1 year (preferred).
