Haul Truck Driver

About the role

We are seeking candidates for an Off-Road Haul Truck Driver position at the Fentress County Quarry in Jamestown, TN. The successful candidate will have familiarity and experience operating rigid frame and/or articulated haul trucks with an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

Full-time, day shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks to move shot rock from the pit to the crusher and begin the crushing process.
• Perform daily pre- and post-inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills applicable to the position.
• Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.
• Follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA/Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
• Work outside in all types of weather and tolerate exposure to loud noises.
• Work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
• Work overtime and extended hours as needed.
• Provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document.
• Maintain a clean motor vehicle record and valid driver’s license.

Requirements

• Dedication to safe work practices.
• Previous experience operating both rigid frame haul trucks and/or articulating haul trucks preferred.
• Ability to perform general laborer and clean-up duties on the ground and in the plant as needed/directed.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.
