Haul Truck Driver

Description

The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, dependable, and motivated. This individual will operate haul trucks within the quarry, performing various maintenance duties, loading/unloading rock, and operating pit and yard loaders.

• Safely and efficiently operate haul trucks within the company guidelines and safety standards
• Participate in safety inspections, plant safety programs, and follow company and MSHA safety rules and regulations
• Aid in loader production by breaking down surge piles and maintaining product piles as needed
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections and report needed repairs to the supervisor
• Perform preventative maintenance, services mobile equipment, and maintain good housekeeping of equipment
• Operate other equipment such as pit and yard loaders in a safe manner as needed
• Aid in the training of co-workers as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Experience in the maintenance and operation of mobile equipment and/or equipment used in processing plants
• Six (6) months experience as a haul truck driver or other related experience (preferred)
