Hatchery Worker Labor HY01 2nd Shift/Full Time/ (Monday-Friday: 3:30pm-12:15am.) Humboldt Hatchery, TN

Hourly pay: $16.95/hr

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 3:30 pm–12:15 am (10-hour days)
• Work all holidays that fall on a scheduled workday

Responsibilities

• Cull unthrifty chicks from the chick line to ensure only healthy chicks are sent to broilers
• Clean and sanitize incubation machines (inside and outside), hallways, plenum hallway, drains, and other facility locations
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Work Environment

• Temperature extremes common (65–99 °F)
• Humid/moist environment

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching
• Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

Requirements

• 180-day waiting period from last termination date
• 3X rule: candidates cannot have worked for Tyson three times previously
• Background check required for certain roles
