HARVEST SCALE OPERATOR - B SHIFT

About the role

The Harvest Scaler prioritizes and organizes the make sheet with the cattle available to fill product orders, directs the Chain Feed Person to put the correct grade cattle on the chain and in the right amount, and documents all floor downtime by time lost, when, and reason.

Responsibilities

• Keep track of all product changes and notify affected supervisors of each product change
• Keep track and record all grade and program cattle changes
• Keep track of amount of cattle cut daily and record
• Verify and document start and shift end times
• Verify cattle temperatures coming into Fabrication and documentation
• Assure all cut codes are in the system correctly
• Complete all end of shift paperwork and verify is sent to interested parties

Pay

Base pay: 24.53/hr.
