Responsibilities
- Support clients with all aspects of home and community life.
- Ensure consistent safety measures are in place.
- Provide a healthy and professional friendship environment.
- Help clients maintain personal hygiene and dressing routines.
- Schedule, attend, and report on medical and therapeutic appointments.
- Assist with shopping, cooking, and cleaning activities.
- Organize consistent exercise, socialization, and entertainment programs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of experience preferred, but not required.
- Driver's license required and reliable transportation.
- Proof of insurance.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Submit a letter from a person and/or employer verifying relevant experience.

ABI Resources is a Connecticut-based company offering home and community disability care services through Medicaid MFP and ABI Waiver Programs. We also provide supported living, instructional care, employment, and transitional living services, including brain injury full-time/part-time caregivers, independent living skills trainers, companions, recovery assistants, behavioral health professionals, certified nursing assistants (CNAs), and developmental support staff (DSPs).
