About the role

A.B.I. Resources Connecticut provides community care and home-based supported living services. We seek individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those with disabilities, supporting them through various aspects of daily life while fostering healthy relationships and professional friendships.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent safety and health for clients in their homes and communities.
• Support clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and maintaining a clean environment.
• Attend and report on medical and therapeutic appointments.
• Help clients with shopping, cooking, and cleaning routines.
• Encourage regular exercise, socialization, and entertainment activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two years of experience working with disabilities preferred, but not required.
• Driver’s license required and reliable transportation.
• Proof of insurance.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Provide a letter from a person or employer verifying field experience.

• Ability to complete tasks and produce results.
• Flexible schedule that can accommodate weekday and weekend shifts.
• Willingness to support clients in all aspects of their daily lives.

Pay

Schedule
