Harness QA Inspector

Description

Assist in the manufacturing production of wire harnesses with primary emphasis being the inspection and quality control of completed wire harnesses.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily inspections of finished wire harnesses prior to shipment to ensure goals are met
• Perform inspection of first article and first piece inspections
• Follow compliance of AS9100 documentation requirements as applied to production
• Record and report on quality issues
• Support and contribute process improvement ideas
• Troubleshoot and assist with the repair of issues as needed
• Work with a variety of equipment and hand tools
• Comprehend mechanical aptitude and abilities
• Comprehend and read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
• Additional duties and responsibilities as required

Requirements

• Must have strong communication skills to communicate with other employee owners, team leads, and production supervisors
• Basic math and computer skills
• Highly organized with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have a positive attitude with a customer appreciation mentality
• Able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis
• Able to stand and perform repetitive work for long periods of time
• Able to comprehend and apply attention to detail with the ability to problem solve
• Operate with a sense of teamwork
