What You Will Do
- Test Fixture Design & Station Bring-Up
- Develop and deliver Test Fixture Design Packages including mechanical/electrical design files, assembly instructions, and validation protocols for each new product or fixture refresh
- Execute Test Station Bring-Up activities including calibration records, GR&R (Gauge Repeatability & Reproducibility) studies, and correlation data for each new station deployment or relocation
- Perform Environmental Testing including Thermal Shock, HALT , and related stress tests
- Conduct Mechanical Testing using Instron, Drop, and Vibration equipment
- Execute ESD Testing per applicable standards
- Operate Metrology equipment including CT Scan and CMM
- Carry out FTIR / Material Analysis for material characterization and failure analysis
- Manage Equipment Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules and execution
- Maintain Equipment Calibrations ensuring all instruments are within calibration windows
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field
- 3–5+ years of experience in a hardware test lab or validation environment
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in mechanical and electrical fixture/test station design (CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Hands-on experience with environmental, mechanical, and ESD test equipment
- Strong knowledge of metrology tools (CT Scan, CMM) and material analysis (FTIR)
- Demonstrated experience with equipment calibration, PM programs, and GR&R studies
- Excellent documentation skills — SOPs, test reports, calibration records
- Familiarity with lab safety, ESD controls, and quality management systems
Pay Range
Pay Range: $120000 - $130000. Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure.
