Hardware Specialist (2967)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare documentation for procurements (large and small purchases)
- Collaborate with ATC&LS Division project personnel and Acquisition Lead to perform material acquisition support tasking
- Maintain and track procurements ensuring accurate records are kept
- Utilize Navy ERP to generate purchase requisitions regarding material or hardware services procurements
- Support data calls as needed
- Direct, oversee, and train junior staff in applying analytical techniques and methodologies
- Develop hardware acquisition procurement packages
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience related to systems acquisition
- At least three years of experience must include supporting Navy or other DoD programs
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated ability to initiate and plan projects risks, tracking, and defining mitigations
Education
- Masters degree in a Business, Management or another business-related discipline
- OR Bachelors degree plus four (4) years of additional work experience related to the applicable labor categories required experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
