Hardware Specialist (2967)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare documentation for procurements (large and small purchases)
• Collaborate with ATC&LS Division project personnel and Acquisition Lead to perform material acquisition support tasking
• Maintain and track procurements ensuring accurate records are kept
• Utilize Navy ERP to generate purchase requisitions regarding material or hardware services procurements
• Support data calls as needed
• Direct, oversee, and train junior staff in applying analytical techniques and methodologies
• Develop hardware acquisition procurement packages

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience related to systems acquisition
• At least three years of experience must include supporting Navy or other DoD programs
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrated ability to initiate and plan projects risks, tracking, and defining mitigations

Education

• Masters degree in a Business, Management or another business-related discipline
• OR Bachelors degree plus four (4) years of additional work experience related to the applicable labor categories required experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
