Hardware Server Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create new tests to verify APIs built by third-party partners to ensure they correctly implemented Apple Pay features
• Define test coverage for new features, create and maintain automated server test cases, and report test results
• Contribute to the design and development of testing tools
• Prioritize, schedule, and communicate the status of your work
• Dive deep to resolve highly technical issues in complex systems
• Triage automation failures and drive them to quick resolution
• Communicate clearly and concisely, tailoring communication to a given audience
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills enabling both independent and team work

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on industry experience
• Strong proficiency coding in Java/Kotlin
• Experience developing API tests using automated testing frameworks, especially REST, and troubleshooting test failures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on critical thinking and a testability mindset
• Ability to apply creativity and analytical thinking to all kinds of problems, such as test case design and building robust automation
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Good understanding of CI/CD principles and the optimal way to design testing strategy for cloud applications
• Experience with containerization and virtualization using Docker, Kubernetes, or related technologies
• Familiarity with AI/ML solutions

$80,000–$135,000 per annum
