Hardware/RF & DSP Design Engineer

About the role

Help lead the development of our newest product line bringing AI to RF applications at the edge serving the scientific, UAV, industrial, and defense communities.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RF and DSP algorithms for edge computing solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers
• Contribute to the technical direction and roadmap of the product line
• Perform system-level analysis and simulation to optimize performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in RF and DSP design
• Experience with hardware design tools such as Cadence, Mentor Graphics, or Analog Devices tools
• Strong understanding of digital signal processing techniques and RF communication systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Experience with FPGA and/or ASIC design
• Knowledge of RF standards such as 5G NR, LTE, and Wi-Fi
• Experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

Skills

• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, and MATLAB
• Experience with hardware prototyping and testing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
