Hardware Lab Lead

About the role

The Hardware Lab Lead position is responsible for managing and implementing environmental test projects, as well as overseeing the day-to-day administrative functions of multiple engineering and environmental test labs. This role ensures safety, security, and compliance in alignment with established doctrine and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lab Operating Procedure (LOP) Management; provide direction for lab users on established policies
• Management, coordination and implementation of Environment Health Safety and Sustainment
• Property & Metrology Management
• Provide process support to Supply Chain Management (SCM)
• Oversee audit/assessment preparation
• Safeguarding of classified/proprietary material, hardware, and documentation, utilizing defense material/property under Export Administration Regulations
• Develop and implement communication plans, providing consulting support to functional and engineering customer management
• Work to influence stakeholders within and outside responsible area at an operational level regarding policies, practices, and procedures
• Work autonomously with limited oversight; provide professional input, guidance, and problem solving

Qualifications

• You must have typically a University Degree and minimum 2 years’ prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree OR in lieu of degree a minimum of 6 years experience
• Experience with working directly with engineers, technicians and/or leadership in an engineering lab environment
• Mechanical and/or electrical/electronic skills

Pay

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Schedule

This position is eligible for the 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off).
