Hardware Installation Technician II

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, and support of new Windows based computer systems.
• Install and Image software on laptops and workstations.
• Prepare the computers for deployments and support the deployment activities.
• Affiliate with the installation and support of computer systems and peripherals.
• Coincides with management for inventory, hardware orders, equipment movement, and shipping needs.
• Afford assistance in ensuring that work products adhere to established deliverable guidelines including format and content.
• Afford assistance in the creation of documentation based on the customer's processes.
• Travel to customer sites and perform deployment activities including, site surveys, installs hardware, installs software, removes hardware, checks hardware for shipment etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: HS + 5 years of experience in Information Technology
• BS +3 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience troubleshooting Hardware/Software issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making.
• Experience in Customer Service.
• Requires skill with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must have active interim Secret clearance or above.
• Must be able to travel to Washington, DC to deploy equipment.
• Must be able to type.
