Responsibilities
- Design and verify hardware systems using CAD tools and simulation software.
- Create and test circuit boards, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions.
- Contribute to the development of new hardware technologies and products.
- Participate in the validation and testing phases of hardware projects.
- Engage in signal integrity and power design to ensure optimal performance.
- Work with automation tools to streamline hardware design processes.
- Develop and implement hardware testing strategies to identify and resolve issues.
- Write basic scripts for automation tasks related to hardware interfaces.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with 2 years of relevant experience or currently enrolled in a graduate degree program with 0 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient understanding of hardware engineering principles and experience with hardware design tools and software.
- Familiarity with hardware testing, debugging techniques, and standard lab equipment.
- Basic programming or scripting knowledge for automation, data analysis, or hardware interface tasks.
- Able to commit to a 6-month co-op program.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work collaboratively across business groups and fields.
- Exposure to hardware security concepts and design for reliability or manufacturability.
- Familiarity with high-speed signal integrity, power electronics, or embedded system design.
- Knowledge of FPGA/ASIC design flow and basic understanding of VHDL/Verilog is a plus.
