Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and review PCBs for RF communications systems, including RF and power distribution.
- Conduct testing and validation to ensure hardware reliability and performance.
- Analyze schematic diagrams for custom and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware.
- Create and maintain requirements documents, functional specifications, interface control documents, and engineering wiring diagrams.
- Create and execute project test plans, supporting both lab and field testing.
- Collaborate with electrical, systems, software, and signal processing engineers to implement cutting-edge solutions.
- Provide technical expertise on hardware solutions, methodologies, and best practices.
- Support customer integration and troubleshooting efforts.
- Interface with PCB vendors to communicate requirements and feedback.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience working with standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, etc.).
- RF design experience for receivers and transmitters.
- Proficiency in RF cascade analysis, balancing gain, noise figure, and linearity in system design.
- Strong knowledge of RF theory and practical application in real-world problem-solving.
- Understanding of analog data converters (ADCs/DACs) and their interfacing with RF front-end systems.
- Experience with Linux for testing and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of PCB circuits, including power and control signals.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in hardware engineering.
- Active SECRET Security Clearance (required).
