Location: Tualatin, OR (100% Onsite). Duration: 6-12+ months.
About the role
We are seeking a Hardware Engineer with expertise in high-speed digital systems to support the redesign of an existing circuit board due to component obsolescence. This role will provide the technical engineering oversight for a high-speed digital board operating at 9 GHz+, partnering closely with PCB designers and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure the updated design meets performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements for advanced semiconductor automated test equipment (ATE).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with high-speed digital hardware design for complex electronic systems operating at 9 GHz+.
- Strong understanding of signal integrity, timing analysis, and high-speed digital design principles.
- Experience reviewing and guiding PCB designs, including schematic and layout reviews.
- Working knowledge of PCB design tools (Altium, Cadence Allegro, Mentor Xpedition, or similar).
- Experience collaborating with PCB designers and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Ability to troubleshoot, validate, and debug complex digital hardware.
