Hardware Clerk

About the Role

We are looking for an organized and enthusiastic Hardware Clerk to join Bi-Mart. This position builds, promotes, and delivers a high degree of customer service. Responsibilities include inventory replenishment, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining merchandise. Daily tasks involve providing prompt and friendly service, ensuring a well-stocked department, and handling customer transactions with precision.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and friendly customer service
• Ensure the hardware department is well-stocked
• Handle customer transactions accurately
• Replenish inventory and maintain merchandise
• Solve problems and offer solutions to customers

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
• Positive and friendly attitude
• Ability to be precise, set priorities, and organize workload
• Problem-solving skills and ability to offer customer solutions
• Ability to engage with and assist a variety of individuals
• Provide excellent customer service

Experience

• Previous experience as a cashier, sales associate, bagger, courtesy clerk, or other retail positions is a plus
• Prior experience at retail brands such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, and Albertsons is an asset
• Knowledge and experience with home repair, automotive care, and building hobbies are valued

Schedule

Bi-Mart stores are open 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM Monday - Friday and 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Saturday - Sunday. Hours may vary depending on workload and assignment.

Pay

USD $16.80 - USD $19.50 per hour, paid bi-weekly with an on-demand payment option.
