Hardware Asset Manager - Active DoD Secret Clearance

Overview

We are seeking a Hardware Asset Manager to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) at Schriever AFB in Colorado Springs, CO. Must be a Colorado Springs resident. Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance. Must have at least 2 years of asset management experience. Familiarity with IT hardware is required.

Responsibilities

• Support MDA customers as part of the Asset Management Functional Team.
• Track and manage the physical location of deployed and stored assets.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and resolve discrepancies.
• Aid with procurement and track orders through established systems.
• Communicate with vendors and resellers to confirm details and support acquisitions.
• Receive and log assets into storage or facilities.
• Perform monthly inventory audits.
• Manage asset lifecycle including sanitization, excessing, or destruction of hardware.
• Restock equipment storage areas and issue equipment to staff.
• Ensure compliance with asset management policies and procedures.
• Cookordination access and support for multiple locations.

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in asset management.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (or higher).
• Familiarity with IT hardware.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of all IT equipment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
