About the role

The Back-to-the-Roots Handyperson Field Technician is responsible for performing a variety of home improvement tasks under the supervision of a supervisor. This position requires a strong background in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair various home improvement projects including carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work.
• Assist customers with project planning and provide recommendations based on their needs.
• Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and concerns.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in using common hand and power tools.
• Experience with residential construction projects.
