About the Role
The Handyman Technician is responsible for the restoration and preventative maintenance of properties. The ideal candidate demonstrates high-level attention to detail, quality craftsmanship, and strong customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance repairs, including ceiling tiles, wallboards, millwork, flooring, wallpaper, and restroom fixtures.
- Address issues from water or cosmetic damage; complete minor drywall repairs and painting.
- Conduct minor exterior concrete and masonry repairs.
- Perform electrical repairs, such as replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures.
- Conduct plumbing repairs, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures and components.
- Lift and carry up to 50+ lbs; maneuver tools and materials on ladders regularly.
- Manage and drive accountability within the team on critical KPIs.
- Safely operate vehicles and use field automation systems for efficient transportation of materials and equipment.
- Collaborate effectively within the team and share pertinent repair and restoration information.
- Provide customer service by addressing complaints and explaining job specifications.
- Adhere strictly to company procedures and safety protocols, especially for electrical and plumbing systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of trucks and warehouse facilities, including storage of repair materials.
- Assist in quality control plans and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Communicate task statuses and support internal project communication, particularly for ceiling repairs.
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications, especially for ceiling installations and repairs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s license in good standing without restrictions.
- Valid travel documents (e.g., Passport or Real ID).
- Detailed knowledge of relevant regulations and laws.
- Technologically proficient, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Comfortable working on ladders, rooftops, and in various weather conditions.
- Full use of hands, arms, and fingers for handling tools, wiring, and equipment.
- Capable of operating power tools and hand tools safely and accurately.
- May be exposed to loud noises, extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, and hazardous materials.
