About the role
TruBlue Ally of South Savannah is a veteran-owned home services company seeking a dependable Handyman / Home Service Technician Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Assist with residential repair, maintenance, and improvement projects
- Support technicians with home repairs, remodeling projects, and aging-in-place modifications
- Prepare work areas, organize materials, and maintain clean job sites
- Load, unload, and transport tools and supplies
- Learn proper use of tools, materials, and industry best practices
- Aid with customer service and professional communication on job sites
- Help deliver exceptional service and craftsmanship
Requirements
- Typical projects include drywall repair and patching, painting and touch-up work, basic carpentry and wood repairs, door and window repairs, deck and fence maintenance, bathroom and kitchen updates, home safety modifications, and general home maintenance services
- Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn
- Interested in carpentry, construction, remodeling, painting, or general home repairs
- Comfortable taking direction and working as part of a team
- Professional and respectful when interacting with customers
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Likely to be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Owns basic tools or is willing to acquire them over time (preferred but not required)
