Responsibilities

• Complete small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects lasting from two hours to two days
• Communicate with customers to explain needed work, scope, and costs
• Deliver a great experience that fosters repeat business
• Follow the Mr. Handyman Way—a repeatable process designed to ensure customer satisfaction

How We’ll Measure Performance

• Customer Satisfaction (NPS): High response and satisfaction rates on post-job surveys
• Revenue Target: Identify and pursue additional service opportunities with each customer
• Effective Billing Rate: Accurate invoicing, material sourcing, and payment collection
• Recall Percentage: Guarantee all work for one year by doing the job correctly the first time

Requirements

• Live within the local area
• 5+ years of paid handyman experience
• Own your own tools
• Eligible for company vehicle insurance and pass background and driving record checks
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently
• Ability to work safely at heights and overhead for extended periods
• Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in at least three of the following:

• Carpentry work
• Bathroom improvements
• Kitchen improvements
• Interior and exterior painting
• Minor and major drywall repair
• General plumbing and electrical (where allowed by law)
• Floor installation and refurbishing
• Familiarity with building codes
