Responsibilities

• Completing small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects (project length can range from two hours to two days)
• Making recommendations and managing expectations with customers—communicating to help them understand what needs to be done and setting clear expectations about scope of work and costs
• Creating life-long customers by delivering a great experience that wows repeat customers, following the Mr. Handyman Way—a repeatable process designed to wow every time

Requirements

• Live within the service area
• 5+ years’ experience as a paid handyman
• Own your own tools
• Be insurable for driving our vehicle
• Pass a background and driving record check
• Able to lift 50 pounds independently
• Able to safely work at heights and overhead for extended periods of time
• Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle
• Ability to self-manage, as you’ll often work alone
