About the role

Affiliated with Ace Handyman Services, one of the top-rated handyman, repair, and remodeling companies in WNC since 2019, we are seeking professionals with multi-trade skills to join our team. Ideal candidates will work out of their home, offering flexible scheduling and a chance to earn between $25.00 and $30.00 per hour, along with benefits and performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, maintenance, and remodeling projects for homes and businesses
• Estimate and manage projects independently
• Provide quality craftsmanship and excellent customer service
• Travel to job sites in Highlands NC and nearby areas using your own vehicle

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and professional appearance/demeanor
• Good overall knowledge of carpentry, tiling, painting, drywalling, and light plumbing/electrical
• Excellent customer service skills, including communication and interpersonal abilities
• Successful prior track record as a Handyman/Craftsman
• Experience in home repairs and strong estimation skills
• Own standard set of tools for all trades
• Valid driver's license and current, valid license
• Reside within 30 miles of Highlands, NC
• Exceptional troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong documentation and invoicing skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Pass a background check and drug screen

Qualifications

• Successful prior track record as a Handyman/Craftsman
• Strong estimation skills and prior home Handyman Repairs experience (preferred)
• Own truck or van
• Current and valid driver’s license
• Residence within 30 miles of Highlands, NC
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong documentation and invoicing skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Pass a background check and drug screen
