Ace Handyman Services is a locally owned company with the backing of a national brand, Ace Hardware, and one of Burleson’s top-rated handyman, repair, and remodeling companies.

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated, multi-skilled Handyman committed to quality work and customer service. The ideal candidate possesses a strong will to complete all tasks in a timely, professional manner, enjoys variety, and values being part of a winning team.

Responsibilities

• Perform all types of quality handyman repairs including:
• Carpentry
• Drywall repair
• Painting
• Tile work
• Basic plumbing and electrical
• Look around the property and communicate to the customer additional repairs or services our company can handle.
• Earn the customer’s confidence and inquire about additional work that could be performed.
• Demonstrate ability and willingness to exceed customers' expectations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of handyman experience.
• Own truck or van and tools.
• Good overall knowledge of all trades, including:
• Plumbing
• Carpentry
• Tile
• Electrical
• Proper equipment—knowing what tools are needed for certain tasks.
• Troubleshooting skills—ability to examine a problem and resolve it promptly and professionally.
• Excellent communication skills with management, office personnel, fellow employees, homeowners, suppliers, property managers, and commercial customers.
• Presentable, clean-cut appearance and organized tools.
• Strong work ethic, professional demeanor, and punctuality.
• Collaborative, optimistic, reliable, and knowledgeable in multiple trades.

Pay

$30.00 per hour.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
