About the role

The opportunity is to serve as an AWS solution architect within the DoD Air Force, translating customer needs into robust cloud solutions. This role involves architecting and deploying production-grade AWS solutions, modernizing infrastructure, and contributing to enterprise-level cloud transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer IT needs and future goals into cloud solutions
• Craft Office 365, Azure, AWS, GCP solutions
• Design and deploy production-grade AWS solutions
• Enable secure cloud environments including GovCloud and DoD IL
• Contribute to enterprise-level cloud transformation initiatives
• Mentor the next generation of developers
• Shape the digital solutions business and identify growth opportunities

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT experience
• 5+ years of experience with architecting and deploying production AWS solutions
• Experience with cloud-native and DevSecOps practices
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• Security+ CE Certification

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud cost optimization
• Experience with containerized and Kubernetes-based architectures
• Experience working within GovCloud or DoD IL environments

Skills

• Experience with automated build or deploy toolchains
• Experience with cloud cost management tools
• Experience with on-premises to AWS migrations
• Experience with security controls and compliance frameworks

Pay

$112,900.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD)

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
