About the role
The Handmade Fresh Pasta Maker at Eataly shares knowledge about products and ingredients with guests and recommends products and portion sizes. This role reports to the Central Kitchen Chef De Cuisine and Fresh Pasta Lead.
Responsibilities
- Stocks counter and display refrigerators neatly, accurately and in a timely manner
- Slices, weighs, labels, displays, sells and packages products per department standards and advises guests on pasta choices
- Handcraft a variety of fresh pasta shapes using traditional techniques and tools
- Operate and maintain pasta-making equipment, including rollers and cutters
- Ensure consistent texture, thickness, and quality of all pasta products
- Maintain dough hydration and elasticity, making adjustments as needed
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area that meets Department of Health standards
- Perform other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in food service production
- Strong knowledge of steps of service
- Great communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Italian products
Requirements
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule sometimes including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting

The base pay range for this position is $19 - $22 per hour
